1   Install

Just install the cups packages.

apt-get update
apt-get install cupsys cupsys-bsd cupsys-client

2   Packages

cupsys	The server. Have to be installed.
cupsys-bsd	Programs like lpq, lpr, lpc and lprm. Just to make things easy to use on command-line.
cupsys-client	Client programs like, lp, lpstat etc.

3   Configuration

This is the really simple part. Just point your web browser to http://localhost:631/ and do what you want. Add a printer and you should be all set.
