1   Introduction

Are you really sure that I'm not just a made up we identity? Well actually I could just make up this pages for some reason. A image here, a name there and some faked or made up things. Well of course it is not so (or? :)

2   Web of trust

Well I can actually cryptographically prove that I am me. The proof is the so called web of trust. With the PGP/GPG tools you can create a identity. This is of course easy to fake. But with a key signed by one or several people you can gain more and more trust to this identity. My key is available on most keyservers around the globe. You can also search for my key (verbose).

3   Statistics

At dtype.org a monthly survey is performed to give some information about the international web of trust. A report of my key is available for the last month and the month before that.
